FAQ’s

What is indoor cycling?

Indoor cycling has been around over 20 years and continues to grow in popularity. Participants are led through a workout led by a qualified instructor. At Epic Ryde, we offer 20 bikes for our participants. Classes are set to energetic music mixes and participants are led through a warm-up, cool-down, intervals, speed drills, hill climbs, cycling-specific techniques and more.

I’ve never taken an indoor cycling class before. What should I expect?

You should expect it to be challenging, yet rewarding and fun! Please be advised... it's addictive! We recommend arriving 10 minutes early to your first class so that your instructor can take you through a brief orientation and assist you with your bike set-up.

Please note: We keep our cycling classes real. If you would not do it on your bike outdoors, you will not do it on our indoor bikes. No Weights, No dance moves, instead we offer REAL indoor cycling classes that focus on the RYDE!

How does the waitlist work?

If you are unable to reserve a bike because the class is full, we highly recommend putting yourself on the waitlist. As bikes or spots open up in the class due to cancellations, we will give them away to ryders on the waitlist (in the order that they placed themselves on the list). You must purchase a Ryde Card or have an active Membership before you can reserve a spot on the waitlist.

When a bike becomes available, the first person on the list will automatically be added to the class. You will receive an email as a confirmation stating that you are scheduled in the class. This can happen up until 3 hours before the class starts, so please keep in mind that if you no longer want a bike you must remove yourself from the wait list to avoid being charged. Please update your email address to ensure we are able to communicate with you. For Ryde Card holders, if you do not get into the class, the Ryde will be returned to your Ryde Card (not refunded).

In addition, we do not offer the option of 'switching' classes within 12 hours of your scheduled class. You are welcome to attend a class whenever there is a bike available, however, if you are scheduled for one class but prefer to attend at another time, you will be charged for both reservations, if you have not canceled your first reservation prior to 12 hours before your scheduled class.

Please be advised, the waitlist operates automatically and each member is responsible for making and cancelling his or her reservations as well as following the cancellation policies of Epic Ryde.

What is a reservation deposit?

This is a fee that is charged to members and new ryders who late cancel within the 12 hour time frame or do not no-show for a class.

What if I am a ryde card holder, do I get charged a reservation deposit? Yes, but instead of a $10 charge you lose a Ryde.

How do I prevent getting charged this fee?
Late cancel before the 12 hour deadline for the class. Make sure you are properly signing into class when you arrive to ensure your attendance in counted. If you are unsure, check with your instructor.

Can I just drop into class without pre-signing up?
Yes, but we do not recommend it as this does not guarantee you a spot in class, plus signing up ahead of time keeps you accountable.

Our reservation deposit is a way of keeping everyone mindful of the classes they have signed up for and allows others to have the ability to get a spot in class if you can't make it.

Are classes canceled in the event of a snow storms or other serious weather- related events?

Our instructors will do their absolute best to make it to each scheduled class regardless of weather. Epic Ryde reserves the right to cancel any classes if we feel it is not safe for our instructor to travel to the studio. Colorado weather can be unpredictable at times and we realize weather events can arise unexpectedly. If a class needs to be canceled due to weather, we will post this on our website and do our best to alert scheduled participants as quickly as possible. If you are concerned you may not be able to make your scheduled class due to weather, we recommend removing your reservation prior to 12 hours before your scheduled class. If poor weather arises but the class is held, your reservation will remain active.
